MAKING THE WORLD
A BETTER PLACE
THROUGH EFFECTIVE
COMMUNICATION
We at Casals’Company are specialists in the fields of advocacy and institutional relations, leveraging our extensive network of contacts and accessibility in the public-private sphere — with decision makers, policy makers, and influential figures across several countries — as well as our mechanisms for building trust. In addition to this, our substantial experience within the realm of European Institutions and International Organizations is noteworthy. With over 25 years of professional experience in German-speaking countries, over 15 years in the French-speaking world, and more than 10 years in other Central and Eastern European countries.
We understand the biases and challenges, the intricacies and cultural, historical, and sociolinguistic sensitivities, as well as the keys to achieving success when negotiating with professionals from these nations. We excel in tailoring our Clients' message to suit the requirements of new countries, institutions, and markets.
We have the expertise to guide our Clients through various negotiation phases in environments with vastly different sensitivities. This involves minimizing misunderstandings in a multicultural setting, maximizing the potential for success, and contributing to the establishment and strengthening of robust networks in the target countries.

UNLOCKING THE ACCESSIBILITY TO THE EU AS A GATEWAY TO AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA (EU>LAC)
This is an unprecedented crisis with unexpected ramifications, with a huge impact in Europe and on a global scale. But like any other crisis, this is also a time of opportunity.
Europe finds itself in the midst of significant geopolitical shifts. These changes reverberate through the economic landscape and impact exports as well. Following the setbacks encountered with the political doctrine of "Wandel durch Handel" (change through trade) in dealings with some autocratic countries, with the subsequent uncertainties and challenges faced by European companies in those markets, Continental Europe is increasingly turning its attention towards Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Within the context of an escalating migration flow due to political instability, added to the effects of global warming in Northern Africa and the Sahel area, a complex picture arises, demanding concerted efforts to designate Africa as a priority and actively contribute to its positive development.
It is evident that European authorities are redirecting their focus toward the African continent. This shift will inevitably impact national Development Agencies as well as European Aid programs, together with private initiatives. Blended-finance initiatives governed by high ethical standards, focusing on sustainability, and green energy, will play a key role.
This situation presents an optimistic landscape of opportunity for private corporations as well as non-profit institutions. Effective advocacy initiatives within Europe, both at the national level in key countries, and within European institutions, should yield favourable results for the right projects in the medium term.
